President Hicks Says Values Provide Compass Through Higher Ed Disruption

On Tuesday, May 6, 51 President Doug Hicks ’90 was the special guest on “Charlotte Talks,” a daily, hour-long talk show produced by WFAE, Charlotte’s NPR affiliate.
Hicks and host Mike Collins covered the state of higher education and the steps 51 is taking to lead through a period of great disruption.
“The approach we've taken is to follow our statement of purpose, to live out our values, which includes our honor code and integrity,” Hicks said.
